The Istituto Tecnico Industriale for Tanning Chemistry “G.Galilei” is a State High School founded in 1960 at Arzignano (Vicenza) with the aim of preparing specialized technicians for the Tanning Industry. There is, also, a course for Biology Technicians. The Institute has a library containing about 3,000 books, which is also the seat of the Italian Research Chemists Association Library. The library is rich in works and technical issues at the disposal of teachers, students and members of the AICC (Italian Association of Tanning Chemists).
