Located in South East Queensland approximately three hours drive from Brisbane, Murgon Leather is a wholly owned subsidiary of Teys Bros (Holdings) Pty Ltd. The Teys Group was established in 1946 and is the largest Australian-owned and second-largest beef processing company in Australia. Teys Bros operates six processing plants in Australia – four in Queensland and one in South Australia – and employs approximately 2600 people. Hides from all Teys meat plants are transported daily to Murgon Leather, where they are green-fleshed before going into wet blue or salted production. Hides are then exported to our customers throughout the world for processing into finished leather.
