The Moxos Tannery was founded in the year 1949 by Don Atilio Quaino in the city of Trinidad, Beni in Eastern Bolivia. From its origins, it specialized in the sustainable exploitation of exotic hides and is currently the leader in this area in Bolivia. For more than fifty years it has been the principle exporter of hides to different countries in Europe.
